يهدف البحث الحالي إلي التعرف علي صورة الجسم لدي عينة من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المقارن لمناسبته لطبيعة البحث، تكونت العينة من (60) طفلا وطفلة من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة (30) من الإناث و(30) من الذكور تتراوح أعمارهم العقلية ما بين(6-7) سنوات واستخدمت الباحثة لتحقيق أهداف البحث الأدوات التالية إختبار صورة الجسم إعداد سهير كامل أحمد، بطرس حافظ بطرس (2023) وإختبار المصفوفات المتتابعة الملونة لقياس نسبة الذكاء (جون رافن) ترجمة وإعداد (عماد أحمد حسن2016) ،وتوصلت الباحثة في نتائج البحث إلي أنه لا توجد فروق في صورة الجسم للأطفال ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة تعزي لمتغير النوع (ذكر، أنثي).
Body image a sample of children with mild mental disability
Abstract of the research :The current research aims to identify the body image of a sample of children with mild mental disabilities. The researcher used the descriptive comparative approach for its suitability to the nature of the research. The sample consisted of (60) children with mild mental disabilities, (30) females and (30) males, with mental ages ranging between (6-7) years. The researcher used the following tools to achieve the research objectives: the body image test prepared by Suhair Kamel Ahmed, Boutros Hafez Boutros (2023) and the color progressive matrices test to measure intelligence quotient (John Raven) translated and prepared by (Emad Ahmed Hassan 2016). The researcher concluded in the research results that there are no differences in the body image of children with mild mental disabilities attributed to the gender variable (male, female).
